Top 5 Business Apps on Android in Madagascar: Q2 2021 Performance

In the second quarter of 2021, the top business apps on the Android platform in Madagascar showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 1.2K in early April and decreasing to around 600 by the end of June. However, the app maintained a relatively stable base of weekly active users, fluctuating between 7.2K and 8.3K throughout the quarter.

Google Meet (original) displayed a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at 299 and dropping to 333 by the end of June. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around 1.5K to 1.8K for most of the quarter.

Webex Meetings saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from 320 and peaking at 494 by the end of June. Similarly, the weekly active user count showed a positive trend, rising from 657 to 925 over the same period.

VssID demonstrated a steady rise in weekly downloads, with numbers climbing from 210 in April to a peak of 525 in late May, followed by fluctuations around 340 to 400 through June. The app's active users also showed growth, starting from 204 and reaching 953 by the end of May, before stabilizing around 800.

Microsoft Teams showed a moderate increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 232 and reaching a high of 440 in early May, then stabilizing around 200 to 300 towards the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users reflected a similar trend, starting at 3.5K and peaking at 4K in early May, maintaining a consistent user base around this level thereafter.
